Waiting for work permit in one of the island resort in Maldives

Hello everyone, this is my first time working overseas, especially in the Maldives. I wanna know how long the work permit take? I apply thru an agent, they didn't quite helpful at all so I took an initiate to ask the HR and Manager. It's been 2 weeks since I submitted my documents to the HR but the HR haven't replied my message.

If there鈥檚 any info regarding the work permit, I鈥檇 really appreciate it. Thank you1f62d.svg1f64f.svg

It always take time and dont go with the agent, later they will ask money with no reason. and what sort of job is that.
