Being a Covid 19 prisoner or being a 'POW'...food for thought!

Yes we do have it bad with covid 19....but i guess we should be grateful that it could have been very much worse, especially for those who were POW's in 1940's Singapore.

Civilians forced into service to build the railroad had a higher death rate than the POW's  Have known for 60 years that The Bridge on the River Kwai won awards, but was not historically accurate.  Covid 19 lockdown does not compare, even if it lasts two years.
