E-visa to convert to residency

I have an issue. I am Jordanian and married to a Filipina wife. I came here on an e-visa, and when we were processing residency, they told us the e-visa cannot be converted to anything else and that I have to leave the country for my homeland to apply for a tourist visa at the Philippine Embassy in Jordan, which is not an option. Now I need a way to stay here and convert that visa to a resident one.

Consult a migration agent for the options available. SIRV, SRRV or seeing you are married a 13a visa.

Good luck.

@bigpearl

is it possible to just go to Malaysia and apply from there without having residency there?

No idea hence my suggestion to spend a few Pisos and consult a migration agent, get the correct answers and the path you need to travel,,,,,,,, a bit of research also goes a long way. I don't know what an e visa is but gather you have restricted/limited access to the Philippines. A migration agent that is switched on will point you in the right direction. Good luck mate.

An add on alaa tabeeb. If you are married and your wife has a passport, you can simply fly to a close country, return and apply for a BB visa on your return, make sure you have all your paperwork in order.
