Notice period for Expat teachers

Hi lovely members,
Can I kindly know what is the usual  notice period for a expat teacher on a 2 year contract for terminating the contract

In Singapore, there is no law guiding this. Check your employment contract: It must be specified there. If it is not and you are on a time-limited contract, you might have no right to resign - in that case approach your employer to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Thank you verymuch for your reply. I just want to know what the norm is for expat teachers. From someone who is already on such a contract

Are you asking about Singapore's public schools (which have very few expat teachers) or private/international schools? In the latter case, it varies from school to school - probably better you ask this at the school you intent to join.
