Hello my name is Dianne Blanchard and I am a Justice of the peace.  I live in Perth, Western Australia and have been living here for the past 19 years.  I would like to start up a business or if given the opportunity even to work in Sri Lanka.  I do travel almost every 6 months to Sri Lanka as I do have family there.  I love my country.

I am looking for a business in the hotel industry and the garments industry and interested in looking to buy one.

I have applied for my dual citizenship recently and hopefully should receive it within a couple of months.

Would be interested to hear from someone about a business or even work for a company.

hi Diane, I have a few good contacts in the galle area that could be of interest. one is to to develop a semi-retirement village for visitors from around the world can stay and also volunteer with a purpose - I am from Melbourne and have been working with a fellow to develop volunteerinsrilanka.org and he has a friend who is an excellent architect and local knowledge of land values. its not an established business by any means but had potential as Mahendra the main guy there reports much interest from foreigners looking to retire in the area. let me know if may be of interest - best wishes, peter
