Rekawa is a village in the south of Sri Lanka very close to the sea at Tangalle which is a famous turtle nesting region since it opens up to the Indian Ocean all the way south to the pole.

Its also a name of a Sinhala film that was made in the 60s that was a bestseller. Rekawa means "LINE" in Sinhala.
