Moving to Bangkok

Hi guys, my husband and I are moving to Bangkok soon. We have chosen it over Cebu because we want to start a family. His office is in Pathum Wan. Any suggestions on what areas we should avoid living in? We've lived in several Asian countries so we're used to traffic and noise etc, but any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello I am Filipino and currently working here in Thailand.I would suggest you to stay at Nichada Thani the expatriate town of Thailand.

I would avoid any area that you cannot walk to sky train or subway station in less than 10 minutes.

Welcome to Thailand.

Would recommend any areas accessible to the trains and preferably not too far from the office. Other than saving money, you save something more valuable - time
