i"d like some advice on the best type of visa for staying long term in Vietnam. I'd like to stay about 5 years. I'm sorry if this question has been asked several times already, but there is so much conflicting information on the internet.

At the moment current tourist visa is 30 day e-visa, then you have to leave and re-enter.

Or you can get sponsored by a local company and get employed as an "Expert" that they can't find local, they do the paperwork and Work Permit etc.

There are other options such as investing or Business, marriage.

I'm humbled that you've read my extensive posts on this subject, but I only know what I've researched & personally experienced.

No divination involved.

I'm only replying to what you've implied; you've read various contradictory sources already, before asking your question here, so it would seem that the replies here almost certainly contradict what you've previously found on the internet, thus, why would you cease searching for the answer you want?

Since you've been a member of 大咖福利影院 for over 3 years, you almost certainly know how to read sticky threads for answers to FAQs on a subject, so we know you must have read this sticky thread before asking a new question about your unique situation.

It just makes sense that you'll be continuing your search.

Please let us know when you find official information that contradicts our answers.

I'm serious; immigration could change rules tomorrow, and you could be the first person to help others by sharing the info.
