Phew! Talk about astounding increase!

I just got back my single entry visa for 3 months extension. I used to pay $25 for this. Imagine my shock when the new price is $45. That to my mind is a 180 % increase..聽 Perhaps many are already aware of this..

It has been increased for some time. I did it for VND$900,000.00

Anyway you got extended. That's a relief!
When the 'Kings' getting crazy, they will say you go out and come back again (from Vietnam)

Yep they are trying to increase tourism to Vietnam, so at the start of the year they increased all the visa costs.
Good move....

Its Asian law of elasticity of demand.

When demand goes down put up prices to maintain revenue!

Seen everywhere same. Even on Bali beach post bombing as me plus beach and no one else. Guy wanted 16usd for beach mat that should be 1 usd. When he had 16 customers he sold for 1 usd. i paid a dollar aftersome serious arguing in my broken bahasa. He didn't look happy ti say the least though!

Adam smith never visited Asia lol where you are owed a living by "rich" foreigners.

Unless your company sponsored, it's usually not worth it. The costs of buying one via a "friend" used to work out more than buying 6 or 12 month visa's.

I've not checked since the price increase, as I already have mine in place, but I suspect this is still the same.
