Maybe a little peanut oil too? (if it can be had)

Otherwise there's a risk of burning out the motor, I think.

Maybe heating the peanuts before blending would thin out the results?

I had a million dollar idea (that鈥檚 since been done) because everyone in Vietnam kept asking me if I wanted to export cashew nuts. I said...I like peanut butter, I like cashew nuts but why isn鈥檛 there cashew nut butter?

Hmmm thats from 2011, I thought of it around 2008 so yeah I still like to think of it as my idea :)

Suprisingly easy to make, I will try and make this as to this day I have never tried cashew nut butter. Just something I always think about with cashew nuts in my mouth.

I was able to buy cashew butter in Melbourne Australia, admitedly from health food shops,聽 back as far as 1981.
So it's not a new idea.

Damn, I really thought it was an original idea but I wasn鈥檛 even born in 1981. Only one UK supermarket sells it here and it鈥檚 rare.

Still a million pound idea for the UK market...

I have really got to try some cashew nut butter.

Cashew butter was among the foods packaged in metal cans for United States civil defense survival kits during the Cold War.
So that makes it in the 50s.
