Staying in Ho Chi Min on monthly visa. Could anyone advise good agency for renewal my agent is charging $120 per month.

Most agents charge around 60 $ for a 1 month extension now.

The price for Vietnam tourist visa extension varies by the location, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. It is higher in HCMC

The price for visa extension in HCMC is around the charge by your agent.

Never quite got my head around the difference in prices. Maybe Ha Noi immigration has more entertainment costs.

I gave my passport to her to extend my visa and her asking price is cheap
Hanoi entry is a little bit more expensive than ho chi minh

I just (November 30th) had my 3 month DN business visa (US Citizen) extension done by my Hanoi agent for less than $200 USD, so I have to think that anything higher than $60 for a 1 month tourist visa out of HCMC is excessive.

Buyer beware!

Visa agents can charge whatever they want.

Also remember, if you last entered Vietnam as a tourist on or after March 1st, 2020, you are still being covered by monthly automatic extensions at no charge.

I previously posted elsewhere that you must be attempting to leave the country to get the free extension, but a government link recently posted by Ciambella proved me wrong.

If you entered the country on or before the 29th of February, 2020, then you must pay for the extension.

If you search it find the girl with long hair wearing gray or black n white checkered blouse and she have PHUC LONG DISPOSABLE Cup in front of her and she holding the straw. You will see in the picture it was taken last July 28 at 9.45pm
