Visiting Da Nang next April

nelsonalexandre

Hi,

I'm visiting Da Nang, Hué and Hoi An next April and really appreciated if someone could give me some hints on locations where I can find other expats living there, to connect and talk about their daily life experiences, how to connect with locals and every other information that can help me experience that stay as someone who wants to learn how it is to live as an expat in that region.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you so much

If you want to meet expats, you should probably focus on Danang, which seems to be the most popular place of these three places, as it is a major beach town with an international airport, i.e., a real city.

In contrast, Hue and Hoi An are primarily know for being tourist destinations with UNESCO World Heritage sites, where most of the foreigners will be tourists passing through.

At any rate, Hoi An is only about an hour and Hue about 2 hours from Da Nang.

Hopefully, others can provide more details. Although I was in the area over a decade ago, it's the kind of well-known place I tend to avoid.

Probably the best place to meet long-term expats is the An Bàng Beach area in Cẩm An, Hội An

You're welcome. You can also just ask your questions here. Specific questions work best.
