You are not the first person asking this question.

Perhaps some of the previous answers will help you with your search.

After that, search for "help with English composition skills".

Good luck ...

Hi -

Basically, like any job, you need to contact potential employers, in this case the language schools, "internation盲l"/bilingual schools and universities.

You can show up and drop off your CV/resume at any schools you find around town.

In addition, you can have a look at this website to see who is advertising:

and post your CV/resume and apply for jobs there online.

Also, there are groups on Facebook like "English teachers in Hanoi" where you can network, and you might be able to find some teachers hanging around the Old Quarter in expat bars and restaurants, noodle shops or bia h啤i/bia t瓢啤i.

I'm no longer there in Vietnam but have heard that, due to the excessive red tape involved in getting a work permit, demand for English teachers is HUGE right now. In other words, VERY FEW people are coming to teach in Vietnam these days because of the hassles associated with being legally employed.

On a final note, don't believe everything you hear from the schools.

Good luck!
