Hello!
I'm looking for a place to buy arts and crafts supplies to do projects with my 5th grade class.. does anyone know where I can find things like string,paper,glitter,beads etc?!

Go to Fahasa bookstores. If you don't know where they are, go to the one in Nguyen Hue, second floor where they have the toys, accessories, stationaries. May not have exactly what you are looking for, but you may find close substitutes.
