Travel insurance...

Hello,

I was wondering if any ex-pats/travellers could help me. I am coming to HCMC in May to teach in May and I plan to stay for probably at least 12 months. What I was wondering was what did you do about travel insurance? I will get backpacker insurance as I will be doing some travelling prior to me settling down but I don't know how long for. The longest I can find is 18 months cover. Did anyone take this option? Is there an alternative once I get to HCMC? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

policy looks ok but if you want coverage included in the qoute for iphone laptop camera, get serial numbers before hand
