Newbie in HCMC

Fifiyo

Hi everyone,

Just arrived 3 days ago. Looking forward to settling down with family and 3 young children in HCM.  Feeding the kids is an ever-present concern for me.  Any good and economical recommendations for meals in D2? I am looking for clean and kid-friendly place with simple food. Nothing fancy and no fine dining for us.

Pls advise!

Hi there and welcome to HCMC.

I saw your post and thought you might get a better chance of a reply and more tips and tricks of surviving this city if you put your queries up at the An Phu Neighbours Google Group. As members in the Google Group are predominantly residents in the family-friendly An Phu (in D2), you'll be able get quicker and more effective responses. That's not to say this is a wrong platform to get answers to your questions; it might take some time here compared to there.

Good luck!

Hi Fifiyo

I like the Bubbha Bar, Mekong Merchant and Snap Cafe. The latter being extremely children-friendly!

If you have the time (and inclination) between locating feeding venues, maybe you'd be interested in Scuba Diving?

Hope this helps.

HI! Before HCMC we lived in BKK, and there were a lot of courses for small kids, like the little gym or swimming pool. My daughter is 1 year old, and I would like to continue some lessons with her. Is there anything available in district 2? Thank you in advance for your answers!
