Hi Tina, I'm living in Aruba 6 months per year since I retired in 22.聽 Iam currently limited to a 180 day stay.聽 I'm applying for retirement residency this year which should alleviate that issue and I've been told I can buy into the health care with that residency.聽

What specifics are you looking for? Condo, house, rental, location, etc.

Currently in a house I had built in 22, bit only there Oct thru April.聽 I will be applying for retirement residency this fall when I return.

What type of property and what location. Condos in walking distance to beach can go 320+ or more in NOORD, so location is important.

Any other specifics let me know.

you can purchase international healthcare. Issue with Aruba is if you have major emergency may need to be airlifted so make sure that insurance covers that. It can be very expensive so keep that in mind. If you鈥檙e looking for basic coverage can be like $2000-3000; premium could be 10k or more.

Keep in mind to apply for residency you need to make a minimum amount. I think it鈥檚 50,000 AWG roughly 28k USA. However, if you make less than 40k you should reconsider as it鈥檚 expensive. Food more, electricity more, income taxes high, etc.

Isn鈥檛 it max now to live as a non-resident is 90 days instead of 180? Didn鈥檛 they change that law, I maybe mistaken that鈥檚 why I鈥檓 asking.
