Many thanks for your reply. I have sent courtenaycoye 2 emails and one phone call asking for help and have never receeived a reply so have gave up on that recomendation. I will try the others.

I will be back in Placencia for Lobster Fest and would like to arrange meeting with attorny the following Monday if possible.  I am a senior widow and definattly need legal help before I sign contract,

The property that I would like to purchase is in Placencia village, I had hopes of finding local as I did not want to go back & forth to Belize City to meet.

I know of a land not far from Belize City.

About 10 minutes to the International Airport, about 25 to 30 minutes to Belize City and about 1hour 30 minutes to Belmopan the Capital.

@marshbunny unfortunately, many Belizean businesses are not good about returning emails in a timely fashion. Your best bet may be to call them or drop by their office when you return to Belize.

If you are working with a realtor, they may have recommendations of a local attorney in Placencia that you could talk to as well.
