Can you work remotely for the US while on a tourist visa in Belize

My husband and I are in our 50's and we both work remotely from home.聽 We want to pre-retire to Belize and still do our work for our employers in the US.聽 聽Is this allowed?聽 We were thinking that that a tourist entry permit, renewed monthly might accommodate this plan.聽 Please let me know any thoughts.聽 Thank you.

That's what I've been doing no matter where I travel. Immigration gets involved when you are working for a business in their country. Apparently many people work virtually here.

You have a perfect situation.聽 for the first 6 months you are here, you will pay $50 Belize dolllars, and after that it is only $100 Belize dollars.聽 聽You will be welcome here.聽 If you wish you can apply for permanent residency and even eventually even citizenship is possible.聽 聽I believe you will be paying US taxes on your income.聽 I do not know about the health care payment options.
