TRANSPORTING GOLD BARS

I have some gold bars.聽聽There is no problem bringing them into country, there is no taxes,聽聽but I have a rule聽 I never keep any more money on me that I can can afford to lose.聽 There is no way I trust customs to just ship gold bars, so if there is something like an armored car service available will you share.聽聽I will need to hire an armored sercie that can pick up in the us an deliver to a bank in costa rica.聽聽Also if someone has broght in a large amount of valuables聽 can you share how you what method of transporation you used.聽 Legally I can bring in all I want on an airplane.聽 It is logal so long as it is declared you are bringing morethan $10,000 on a flight.

Some (maybe many) banks offer little or nothing in the way of safety deposit boxes, so finding a good home for your gold bars* may be more difficult than you think.

*My opinion on gold, if you wish.
