Suggestions on Internet Provider

I am having the worst time finding a reliable ISP here in Santiago. I have used Claro service not sufficient or reliable I found now I'm with Wind for the last three months and they are worse then Claro! I called Tri Com and they stated they cannot provide service in my condo complex. This is very frustrating I work from home and need a service that can provide signal strength聽 and consistency for my laptop聽 and VoIP phone. Any suggestions? I'm at wits end here....

Who is your cable provider?聽 Do they offer internet service as well?

I have just arrived in Puerto Plata and staying in Sousa.

The internet connection is rubbish and very expensive.聽 I need a minimum of 3mb download speed and I am being quoted 100$ per month.聽 At the moment I am lucky to get 1 Mb聽 The box is Motorola and worst still unsecured.聽 Any suggestions please Bob.
