Is it possible to drive a golf cart in the streets of Santiago?聽聽I see some folks driving golf carts in Punta Cana.

It is illegal in聽 Santiago.聽聽IT is illegal outside a gated private community or golf course I am told.

And before everyone starts with,聽 I do it all the time, my friend does it all the time etc etc that does not make it less illegal.

In Sosua, you get a permit from the local Police/City Gov.聽 It is legal, until they change their minds.聽 That has happened 3 times in the 2 years I've been living here.聽 I imagine they charge you a new fee each time they make them legal again, why else would they keep changing the rules??
