Looking for insights from people who have moved to Panama

Hola,

I鈥檝e spent a little time visiting in Panama. Mainly David, Boquete and Cerra Punta. I鈥檓 62, retired Engineer living in Pensacola Fl. While visiting Panama I enjoyed the simple, slow way of life, food and nature. I鈥檓 in the process of trying to wrap my head around what i need to do to get there. I鈥檓 under no delusions as to it being the 鈥漃erfect Paradise.鈥� As such I would like to rent a furnished apartment for 3 months, give or take鈥� That way i have a more realistic expectation of what life will be like before selling my house etc etc. Quality of life is a big motivator for me, trying to maximize my retirement income. Anyway, would really enjoy speaking with people that have made this move.
