Depending on the career you want to study and the University you choose, you may have different lifestyles sceneries. Normally, in private colleges, you may have the chance of having a full time job or part time job. In a public college is a little hard to enter in some specific careers such as to study medicine, civil engineer, among other. and those careers might take most of your time during 5-6 years.

About accommodation, students must find their own. their are a lot o rooms/condos/apartments near the universities.

I believe that an average cost of living for a student could be $500 USD.

In Panama, young people is very friendly, willing to party and meet new people. And since such a small country, you can meet someone that you met before and everyone is the same social cycle or are families or neighbours or whatever... but at the end you know half or Panama hahaha it is very strange, interesting but scary (in a good way, I think).
