What can or can鈥檛 you bring into Panama

We are planning on moving down there. But where can I find a list (in English) that tells us what we can and can鈥檛 bring into the country from the USA?
I鈥檝e checked the links from the expat pages, and when I click them, they are in Spanish
Which I can鈥檛 read yet. We are learning Spanish but that doesn鈥檛 help when we are looking for information on what we can or can鈥檛 bring into the country
I hope someone out there can help us.
Thanks

Hello Ginny,

I can help you with getting things translated.

After arriving in mid-December, I found that Google translate on my laptop allowed me to copy & paste to enable me to understand Spanish text.

Also, if you add it to your cell phone, you can use it to communicate with that store clerk who speaks no English.

There are other free translaters that are great when you have a saved document (like a lease) where you can just upload the document (in Word, pdf, etc.) and the translater edits it to English.

Best,
Robert

Thanks for the tips, guys
I鈥檒l have my husband do what needs to be done to translate the pages.
I use an iPad so I can鈥檛 do that...
I was hoping that we could find a list somewhere
We know about the containers that we鈥檇 have to buy, but was looking for info on or about guns, amino, seed stuff and per packaged foods that are sealed. Any tips on those would be helpful too
Again thanks
No guns. It鈥檚 complicated to impossible to get them legal. Seeds ok, also packaged food. No plants, fruits, living things that could carry insects or disease.

Weapons - and like she said cash that is not declared. Depends what you want to pay customs and shipping fees on
Also some things that were alive.聽 Treated wood only, no animal skins, animal ivory,聽 anything flammable, and items with the contents under pressure.
