I recently moved to Dornbirn in Vorarlberg and have had an incredibly hard time making friends with the locals, though I've tried to join groups and a church! Anyone else around? Any tips?

we're considering moving to Dornbirn and that is one of my question in mind although my first impressions with germans or austrians are relatively friendly.
