Belgium B card renewal

Hello,

I would like to know how long the renewal of the B card typically takes? Is it normal to not receive anything for 4 weeks? When asked at the commune what's the issue, they told me that they are waiting for a reply from Brussels and that I should wait to receive an invite! Any ideas what might be the reason?

@stumpy thanks for your reply! It's okay, i can wait, I was just wondering whether it's a normal timeline or there might be an issue because some sources claim that this process is quick.
