Validity of legalized documents

For Belgium, the documents you legalized last year 2023 i mean education certificate and transcripts how long can it be valid, please I need urgent answer thanks

@ifeanyiamarachi93聽 there is no universal validity of legalized document. in fact, the apostille certificate (more familiar with this than other legalized docs) does not mention any validity date and i don't also see the point of putting validity period for school documents. once you have it, you have it for life isn't it?

however, it also depends on the receiving institution on what their policies are. as stupid as it may be, few agencies require (e.g. 6 months) validity of legalized documents. thus, you can check with the agency you are submitting if they require certain validity period for documents.
