I applied for a Belgian marriage visa on 9 September 2025, and on 13 January 2026 the website was updated as shown below:

Beslissing/Status Dossier:    In afwachting ontvangst van documenten die de visumaanvraag ondersteunen en die door de Belgische diplomatieke/consulaire post per diplomatieke valies verzonden wordt.

Today is 21 January 2026, and I still have not received any request for additional documents or any feedback. In your opinion, does this situation seem positive or negative? Could you please share your expectations regarding when I might receive a response?

Thank you very much. Other details of my application are as follows:

    •    My partner is a Belgian citizen

    •    Her income varies between 1,300 and 1,800 euros, and she has a permanent employment contract

    •    She does not receive any social assistance

    •    She lives at her mother’s house, and we submitted a written statement confirming that no rent will be charged

    •    We have known each other for 3 years

    •    Our relationship has lasted over 2 years

    •    We met face to face twice, each time for 14 days

    •    I only submitted the written and chronological history of our relationship and did not include any photographs
