Good to hear. Hopefully it is the same in Bulgaria.The main reason I want to get it is my VPN does not work with the Bulgarian Internet providers.( I checked with Starlink and they told me that my VPN will work just fine). I have some remote business to do and this is of utter importance to me. Also I have noticed that outside of Sofia internet can be sketchy聽 at times. So this is reason number 2.

What vpn do you use? I've got surfshark and only recently signed up to a 2 year package so聽 hopefully that works out there.

The internet where our village house is situated is a rock-solid 100meg; faster is available but of no use/interest to us. Even pretty remote villages in BG usually offer a decent connection and a good speed....

There's a young British couple in Bulgaria with a YouTube channel 'Off Grid with the Udens'. They are in a rural village location in the Haskovo region and use starlink, they did an un-boxing video about it. They seemed quite impressed with the setup.

will check it out. I am always impressed by super adventurous people that move to another country, fix houses, start totally anew, do not speak English. I am not anything close to that. I like my comforts anywhere I live in the world.

I am moving to Bulgaria simply because聽 I love the country, the people, my wife is Bulgarian and we find life in Bulgaria to be聽 of better quality compared to the US. United States lost it...

I was in聽 a hotel in Bulgaria ( Sofia!) in December聽 and the WIFI barely allowed to use聽 WIFI calling. Missed some calls due to the above.I was in Lozenetz last year- internet was very poor. Very. This is my experience all over Bulgaria ( especially in hotels). You may have good connection and that is great. If i have to do business , it is imperative the internet to be super fast and reliable. I do not need any frustration; it is not worthy to me.

I can well believe that some hotels offer seriously cr*ppy Wi-Fi - anything to save a few stotinki. However, all our local malls, supermarkets, DIY sheds, hospitals etc offer excellent coverage and speeds.

Sorry Terry I have no idea where Radovets is. There are usually some bed and breakfast places聽 in most good size villages. Please check internet.

I have watched them for a while, they are doing well, they have recently moved over full-time, here is a video of their star link setup
