Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in Varna?

I'm not female, but several times I've gone into the tourist office and they've been very helpful with information an expat might need... even as a resident, and not a tourist.

It's right around here by the main cathedral. They might have access to lesser known resources for expats.

I had both of my kids with Dr. Staneva at Maichen dom in Varna.

While I can't recommend her if you do not speak Buglarian or Russian, I would still recommend the center with an English speaking doctor (they have at least one there).

Their prices went up recently, due to renovations and opening a new pediatric wing of the hospital, but it is still around 3500 lev (for exams during pregnancy and birth) without insurance.

I recommend getting a private room there (it is a bit more each night, but worth it), and also paying to have your husband stay in. Even if he doesn't stay in, having him paid for will allow him to come and go and actually hold the baby before you are released from the hospital.
