Could someone tell me how come the milk was poisoned?
and how did a poor country like BOSNIA discovered this, not even by the croatian authority?

get it right.
the 'poision' was聽 natural, allowed by eu standards. you would have to drink 20ltrs a day for 15 years before it took affect.

Nash, where was the poisoned milk, in which supermarket? Could you tell us more?

Cows ate food that had high doses of aflatoxine in it (aflatoxine is a product of development of Aspergillus flavus mold, which develops when the corn/wheat etc has not been dried enough before being processed into cattle food).

Different countries have different tolerance levels for aflatoxines in milk, as it is very cancerogenic).

In Croatia, tolerated level is 0,05 micrograms per kg, in EU 0,025, in Hungary it is completely forbidden.

So far, on Croatian market, several milks had doses higher than tolerated:

Meggle 2,8 % milk fat, best before 3.8.2013.
Dukat 3,8% best before 15. 5.2013.
Mercator, Tuzla 2,8% best before 16.5.2013.
Lidl Croatia (Kozarska Dubica)2,8% best before 30.6.2013.

Thank you for this very kind information,.well well well,.from today, think I will be on soya milk,...:)

As all the wrong type of milk has been taken off the shelves I shall continue to buy as before
