1, If your children were born after or before 2014.07.01 because the exact current law concerning citizenship through a Danish father had come into force from that day. Which is very crucial in your case.

Even if a child born to a Danish father, if the child was born outside of the Danish territory before 2014.07.01 there was a different law concerning automatical citizenship of the child.
