Looking for a longterm rent on Il de Re

Hi all.
Just posting to see if there migt be a heads up on renting a house on Il de Re for a couple of years. We want to find a second home to do some writing and research for chunks of the year and so are looking to renr long term. Anywhere on Re would be great, we have 2 childen also and love old houses in their orignal condition, ones that may not find their way onto airbnb !

Hi, you sure have good taste! This is a very desirable location. You might look at the very popular website "Le Bon Coin" for rentals.聽 Why would someone rent to you long term at a reasonable rate when they can rent during vacations at a very high rate?. Otherwise, look in the coastal towns. Good luck :-)

Anywhere down the West Coast in summer is probably impossible.
Most of Paris and major cities move this way in the summer holidays
Once the holidays are over you might be lucky, but Gites and rental homes are always popular.
