Sounds unlikely but to say one is a digital nomad is much too general to give a qualified answer. One would have to go into detail about one鈥檚 situation; where they live and work, citizenship, residency, work situation.

Not to be disrespectful but most of what I read online about being a 鈥渄igital nomad鈥� sound like BS to me. Nearly all countries have complicated rules about immigration and work. The theory that people can simply go around most of the rules, including avoiding taxes sounds like wishful thinking at best and often likely fraudulent 鈥� or in a gray area. And both government officials and organizations like insurance companies are used to standard situations 鈥� and distrustful of unusual exceptions even if technical not disallowed. Rather than a trouble free life, it mostly sounds complex and stressful to me; one rarely has the security of things going as expected.

You can only insure your German household if you have one - and you can only (legally) have one if you have a residence visa (and rent or own an appropriate living space).
What you are looking for sounds like a travel insurance to me.
But, as Tom indicated above, no insurance will cover you while doing illegal stuff - and being a "digital nomad" is illegal almost everywhere you could go.
