move from UK to Gibraltar and rent accommodation in Spain ?

Hi, after seeing a few post 's i am a bit confused, i am English and a pensioner so if i move to Gibraltar and become a resident can i do what people are saying ''that you can rent and live at a property close by in Spain because it is more affordable then Gibraltar ? regards in anticipation , burt.

Hi ,聽聽 i am a bit disappointed聽聽in not getting any replies relevant to my questions, , come on you can do better than this ,聽 is this forum about Gibraltar ? ,,,,,,can聽 an聽聽 English聽 person聽 be registered as聽 resident in Gibraltar but聽 rent a place down the road across聽 the border in Spain聽 ?
