Only a short time after taking out home insurance with Stauros Manetakis, a severe storm blew 2 marble slabs off our roof terrace, which smashed our brand new solar panel! Thank you. What was your experience installing solar panels? That is in my plans as well. I am in Athens.

This was just one for the solar hot water boiler. We did consider solar panels but it wouldn't work for us on FIP Residency.

The process in the UK for the Type D visa was fairly straightforward, but be aware that the income required is now €4200 pm for a couple. Once in Greece, you apply online for your permit, which can be tricky and time consuming. We found it less stressful to use a lawyer!  Once the application is in , it can take up to 2 years to receive your permit,  but you do receive a paper to use in the meantime. Good luck!

We do not care :-)) of our consumption of energy due to his precise calculation accordingly our needs.

Isn't it just! I believe money in the bank counts too, so if you're short on the monthly income, but can show you have enough savings to draw on to cover the difference over the 3 years then that might also work.

For non EU citizens: It seems that a deposit of €48,000 is now also required for retirees visas (57.600 for a couple).
