Nyugodjon b茅k茅ben - my Hungarian roots

techdevlab

I am grateful for any help on this. My aunt recently passed away, that side of my family is full Hungarian. My dad asked me to help him find a translation of "Rest in Peace". I found one on Google translate, but did other research and the ending is different on some images I found for Hungarian memorial services. I do not want to get it wrong, and I am not sure if the difference in endings has to do with the male or female version of the word.

She is of course female. Which of the following would be the correct spelling for "Rest in Peace".

Nyugodjon b茅k茅ben

Nyugodj谩l b茅k茅ben

My dad originally wanted to say:

Rest in peace. Love your Nephew and family.

Any help or guidance from some of you expats there would be awesome.

Nyugodj B茅k茅ben is correct but it's bad grammar.
A common thing to say is F谩j贸 Sz铆vvel B煤cs煤zunk, Unoka枚cs茅d 茅s Csal谩dja which roughly translates to "Farewell with an aching heart, your Nephew and Family". If you want to keep it simple then B煤cs煤zunk, Unoka枚cs茅d 茅s Csal谩dja. It's "Farewell, Nephew and Family" Or Eml茅ked 艕rizz眉k, Unoka枚cs茅d 茅s Csal谩dja, which means "We keep your memory, Nephew and Family".
Hope I could help, 艕szinte R茅szv茅tem, "sorry for your loss".

Yes, you helped very much. I appreciate the time and education. My grandmother was the first born Hungarian from our family in the US. She taught me a few words in Hungarian, and I loved her paprikash chicken...

thank you again for the help.
