Winter Ice rink

I have heard that there is a winter ice rink set up each year in Valetta. Can anyone tell me anything about this and the possibility of getting a job with it? Thanks

I'm not sure about Valletta but there is a small 'ice rink' set up every X-Mas season at Tigne Point plaza. BUt it is not real ice. What job are you thinking of ? There are only 1 or two working there! Do you speak Maltese? THey are mostly dealing with Maltese kiddies.

Only speak English but hoping to learn Maltese. I am an ice skating coach in UK -was hoping that there would be a real ice rink set up over the winter season...

There's also a small ice rink set-up in Bay Street complex, St. Julian's, in front of Junior's shop.

The ice rink in Bay Street was a bit of a joke. Had a circumference of about 15 metres, maybe less. It was nothing remotely like an average UK ice rink. If I was asked to compare it to either a UK ice rink or a kiddies paddling pool- the paddling pool would win.
