sponsor's letter indicating the reason of applicant's stay

Hi everyone.

I am Ukrainian married to Maltese. We came to Malta in march to reside and currently trying to apply for the residence permit for a family member (form G).

As supporting document it requires a Letter from sponsor (my husband) describing the reason of my stay.

Did someone write such letter ? What shall we put in? Are there any templates or requirements to the content?

Maybe I am overcomplicating and it is a simple letter in 2 words聽 but it is better to ask.

Will be very thankful for any advise on content /working samples etc.

I'd think the reason of 'family reunification' would be accurate and sufficient.聽 Indeed, you might be over-complicating this :)
