You may find,unless you intend working, that your husbands salary will not be enough for you to get residence here especially with a child as well.

Welcome to the Forum, as regards accommodation look on the housing section on here, you could also book into a bed and breakfast place when you first arrive here then find somewhere more
permanent by looking at adverts in shop windows or speaking to people where you will be working, good luck.

No point in looking for a job at the moment as most places are closed including the airport because of the virus, with regards to working in an office you may need to speak Maltese.

With regards to Gozo there is hardly any crime although probably a little more then when we moved here seven years ago, rental costs do not vary much on the island.聽 Places to avoid in my opinion are Marsalforn and Xlendi as too many tourists.聽 We live in Victoria the capital of Gozo which we find
convenient for the shops as we do not have a car and fairly quiet, as no where is that quiet here because of building work going on.聽 聽I personally would prefer Florida with the lovely beaches especially
Siesta Key area.

Would happily swap places with you, Gozo for Florida, around Siesta key or Venice as Gozomo said, but US will not allow us to retire there! Hope you are allowed to take up residence in Malta, if so then Gozo is quieter and more relaxing with rents generally cheaper than Malta.

You have already put this post on here, this is not a recruitment forum, only you can find work by looking at the vacancy ads, at the moment because of the virus there are a shortage of positions particularly in the hospitality section.
