Visiting Montenegro

Hello everyone, well with my wife we are going to visit Montenegro in mid-January ( for3 weeks) to see, study and make a decision if we want to retire in there. we want to buy a 2-bedroom apartment somewhere in BAR area, so with your experience and expertise i am asking anybody have a local friend can help us while we are there? which bank will be best to open an account? do you know a good realestate agent? a lawyer?

if anyone have time to write us and advice? we will really appreciate.

we are from South Carolina USA and ready to retire and settle in Montenegro. thank you so much聽聽 Hal.

Welcome to Montenegro !

I have made the same move, from France, in 2008 and very happy with the decision. Montenegro is wonderful, beautiful and extremely safe

It seems you know the country already since you already picked the area where you want to live!

I am happy to send you a few contact to help you with residency in particular (one of my business partner handles accounting, taxes, legal and residency permits alltogether).

For banks I would say Hypotekarna is the "least bad" from what I have heard...

Laywers, really depends what you need them for.
