Getting Married with 23yro Norwegian BF in Norway as a Foreigner

Hello, my boyfriend and I have been together for one and a half year and we both are currently students in the same university, although I'm doing a master's and he's doing a bachelor's. He's Norwegian but I'm from South Korea who has been staying in Norway on my student visa for 2years. As I'm a student, I'm unable to have a full-time work but I have a part-time work and I also work as a learning assistant in the uni. There is a big age gap as my boyfriend is still under 23years old and I am much older than him. We have agreed on getting married in Norway as we sincerely love each other and that might be the best way for us to be together even after my study is over. There is a job seeker visa I can apply for, however the balance in my bank account they require is way too high for me for now until I can find a proper job and also there are so many restrictions which make it much harder to find a job just related to my study under the restrictions regarding the job seeker visa. We would like to get a fiancee visa or family visa so that we can stay together at least until he finishes his master's in next 3years. He doesn't work but only gets a student loan from the government. Can anyone give us any advice or help please, thank you very much..!

Hey! It looks that your husband can't meet the income criteria which is set for the reference persons 3G or 355 320 NOK/year

So the only way is you find a full time jobb and apply for working visa in your own.

If your husband have other incomes which UDI takes into account you can take that as well for example home rent income etc.

I think it dosen't matter it same for pensionist too.Only for asylum seekers there are some exeptions.

@Rridik Thank you for your kind response Rridki Yeah, I'm not sure either if the income requirement applies in the same way when both are students. The best way is that I can find a full-time job to meet the requirement, however my study is very limited to find a job here due to language barrier and I can only find a job relevant to my study on a job seeker visa. So it's a huge dilemma with everything now and I honestly don't know what can be the best way to solve this problem under my circumstances :'( But thank you so much!!!

@ChrisDl I've been trying to find any info too but failed. I also wonder if it matters when both are students because if so, maybe it's better that I extend one more semester rather than struggling to find a job for unlimited time without any income.

Requirements for the reference person

You must have an income of at least聽 NOK 320 274 per year pre-tax . The amount is adjusted in May each year, but this is the applicable amount if you apply now. You must have this income the first year your family member receives a permit in Norway. In addition, you must have had at least this income last year and during the time we process the application. You also cannot have received any financial assistance from NAV (酶konomisk sosialhjelp) during the last 12 months. Please check the income requirements, what kind of income that counts and whether you can be exempted from any of the requirements.
