My first message to a forum.

Hello to whoever reads this.

And Thanks!

I am both new to Norway and new to blogging, hopefully both will be catastrophe free.

I am slowly getting used to the cost of things here - I dont seem to notice spending 20Nok for an ice lolly or up to 4Nok for coffee.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced Norwegian Treat?

Thanks for reading

Here's a rule : eating out is ridicully expansive in Norway ! Basically there's no limit when u go out to eat or have a drink, specially if u're in the west...
I found just one exception so far : a normal priced indian restaurant, the Curry&Ketchup, food is quite ok, and price is as in continental Europe (eg 10-12聙 for a chicken briani).

Nothing is reasonably priced for Englishmen, but different types of p酶lse are usually on offer at Narvessen.  Last week, they had baconp酶lse for 25kr, and I've also seen wienerp酶lser for 15kr.

I like mine with spr酶stektl酶k, chili ketchup, and hot-dog sauce.

Yum.

Also another good tip, in Deli de Luca, they offer a few chinese or indian (one actually lol) meals; it's NOK 19/100 gr, so if you take 2-300 gr (a decent portion i think), it'll cost 6-7聙, like in continental Europe so. Beware that many other things in Deli de Luca are however quite expensive imo.

Both the cinnamon and custard scrolls are yummy!
