NIF Online.pt is a 100% online platform developed by a self-appointed "group specialized in Portuguese documents"......

What I realised when saw this site:
- It seems to be developed by brazilians and non-Portuguese
- No contacts, no address, no information about its lawyers (who will be your tax representatives in Portugal) ...
- By joining that, you are sharing your personal information to anyone you do not know, without any guarantee that everything is handled legally. Nor do you have any way of making a complaint if you want to... You don't know who is handling your information. This is a scary feeling.

I do not recommend it !

This is the government information you need to know:



Foreign nationals no longer need to go to a tax office to make their NIF request. It can be made by a tax representative citizen residing in Portugal.

You should always look for an Official Lawyer in Portugal, certified, as I have already said to you in a previous discussion....

Your LEGAL LAWYER MUST HAVE identified clearly its:
"Registo na Ordem dos Advogados" / Portuguese Bar Association registration
and/or
"NIPC" (N煤mero de Identifica莽茫o de Pessoa Coletiva) / Legal Person ID Number

One of my clients used them to obtain a NIF for golden visa purposes and had to hire someone else because they were not able to obtain the NIF in due time..

I used it. great service. Got my NIF in 1o days. I have a friend who also used it, no problem.

Can you please tell how the whole process with NifOnline has developed, and what documents you needed to deliver? The NIF issue is a recurring problem here, and there are many people who are interested in this kind of information.

Sure. You pay 69 euros, then you have to upload some documents to prove your identity. You also have to sign a form requesting the NIF. They book in a video call with a lawyer so you can sign the document on camera. They then act as your overseas friend and request this for you. It was all really good and they were very helpful with any questions I had.

I've used it as well for two NIFs. I can attest it was a very smooth process and totally legit.聽 NIF in about 9-11 days if I recall correctly.聽 You post info requested, then are later contacted by an atty to verify identity over a video call.聽 Similar process for Atlantico Europa bank.

E-residence.com provide NIFs in 3 days. It's the fastest way if you are in a hurry.

I tried to use them recently for my wife, they provided wrong information, told us that my wife cannot receive NIF unless she has residency card or has been living in Portugal more than 183 days. Both statements wrong, but we didn't know at the time, found out a few days later, and we asked them to put the process on hold. Got the NIF ourselves simply going to Finan莽as with the rental agreement in hand. No residency card, no 183 days in Portugal.
When confronted about their misstatements they became belligerent and starting talking about lawyers and such, refused to apologize or return the money we paid.
Not recommended! Will say anything to get your money.

Has any one used聽
