Well you have to decide where you are going to live/work.聽 If your prospective spouse lives/works in Spain, and you plan to join him there after marriage, then you need to apply for a residence permit for Spain, not Romania.聽 Do note that you can only hold 1 residence permit at any time.聽 So if you obtain a Romanian residence permit, then go to another country (or are absent from Romania more than 6 months) your residence permit will be invalid as you will have abandoned your residency in Romania.聽 As a family member of a EU citizen, you will have the right to work in the EU.聽 It is not necessary to have permanent residence in any EU country to have that right.

So what you聽 are trying to say is, that I should apply for EU citizen rather than a residence permit? My fianc茅 doesn't permanently work in Spain, its just temporary, so that means we are going back to Romania again.

No, I didn't try to say that at all 聽 I'm saying that as a spouse/family member of an EU citizen, you generally have the right to settle and work with your spouse.

If you want to join your spouse and stay in Spain for longer than 180 days I think it is, you need a Residency card for EU Family members (Tarjeta de residencia de familiar de ciudadano de la Uni贸n), which must be applied for within 90 days of arriving in Spain.聽 When you later return to Romania, you must apply for a Romanian Temporary聽 Residence Permit (Permis de sedere temporara).

darelo, you are incorrect.聽 No EU member states residency permits are "more stronger" than any other respective permit.聽 They are equal, as the right to free movement is standard across the EU.聽 In Romania, the Permis de Sedere is what is applied for and issued to non EEA family members of Romanian citizen living in Romania.聽

Just keep in mind that UK is not part of Schengen like most EU countries, so they have their own requirements for entry.聽 Cheskafrencis has asked if she can travel/work outside of Romania while holding a residence permit.聽 My answer remains valid; yes she can do so.聽

Yes he can come with you as a family member.聽 A UK EEA family member permit will have to be applied for, which you can find details about on the gov.uk website (for UK obviously).聽 For Germany, you will need to contact the Ausl盲nderbeh枚rde in the area you plan to relocate to in Germany for a German residence permit.

From what I understand, it should be obtained BEFORE traveling聽 to the UK, as it will be required to show at immigration/border control.

Perhaps try link to register yourself on the website. Also this link will give you a brief list of documents you need to provide.

Please note that there is a difference between documents you "must" provide and documents you "can" provide. If I were you I'd only give them what is required by law and leave out the rest.
