HELP NEEDED - My NIE number is missing on my Type D Visa

Hello,

I don't know if anyone can help me. I have come to Spain from the UK on a TYPE D Visa (student), as the spouse of someone studying. Unlike my husband, I don't have an NIE number on my visa, so cannot get a TIE appointment. I've tried emailing the Spanish consulate in London, but haven't received any reply.

Does anyone know how I can get my number, or, how I can apply for my TIE appointment online (in Malaga Province) as the website won't allow me to book with Passport info only.

ALL ADVICE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The cita previa TIE option says:

"In the case of stays of Family Members of Students (SLF visa), you must pass, in advance of the appointment for issuing the TIE, by the corresponding Immigration Office so that the stay authorization can be recorded.

TIE will not be issued when the validity of the immigration authorization to which it is associated is less than or equal to 6 months, nor in the in case the validity of the card to be issued is less than 30 days."

There is also a separate cita previa option for Assignment of NIE. So probably you could try this.

I know this is an old post but I find myself in the same position- I am on a long-stay study visa but my NIE number is missing from it. What did you do to get around this?
