Dinner "club"

My wife and I love eating and cooking, and the other day I was thinking that maybe it would be a nice idea to start a dinner party "club". of 6-10 people.

We would meet at regular intervals (once a week maybe), in rotation at a different persons place and cook for each other.

There could be a fixed cap on how much you can spend on food, or it could be that everyone chips in a certain amount for each party, or whatever. You can see I'm sketchy on details here.

I just wondered if anyone out there would be interested in taking part?

sounds like a great idea altho dont have dining room and squeezed space on the sofa for 4 any good?  i too love eating, mmmmmm
We don't have a dining room as such either - we just have a huge table that takes up half the flat.

Squeezed space on sofa sounds cozy.

I'm sure we'll work something out.

So, anyone else interested?
would love to join in, but...:( I'm in Madrid. Once had a dinner club and we would choose a theme, the host would make the main dish, and guests would bring dessert, wine, side dish, etc all in the same theme. We met monthly and usually chose a country, region or holiday as the theme. Sorry to butt in, just offering a suggestion
I think Neil and I would be really keen on this idea. We both like to cook and it'd be a great experience to try different food. Haggis anyone?
Yay!

I've only tried haggis once actually. Can't remember having a strong opinion about it either way.

Only if it's marching around playing the pipes, as in The Sunday Post cartoon section...
