marypeter14

Someone put a case on me and have received an email to attend first heating in two weeks time. I have no ideal who it is and the charges are "MISDEMEANOR".

Anyone here with ideal what that means?

The simple definition for Bahrain is:

Felonies – Serious crimes (e.g. murder, rape, drug trafficking)

Misdemeanours – Less serious crimes (e.g. assault, theft of small value, defamation)

Petty Offenses/Contraventions – Minor violations (e.g. traffic violations, public nuisance)

All you need to know is that you need a lawyer as this can lead to jail time plus fine.

Thank you. I will go to the public prosecution to find out with a lawyer.
