Resignation Guidance

Surya singh

I had sent my resignation via the post office earlier, but it was not accepted. I have now completed two years with the company and would like guidance on the proper way to formally resign and complete the process.

Thank you for your support.

Have you been in touch with HR ?

Thanks Bhavna.

Yes, but my HR is saying that they will not approve my transfer. Now I am confused about what to do and whether going to LMRA will be of any use in this situation.

My contract has a 60-day notice period, but it is ending on 30 April. However, my company renewed my visa for one year without asking me. Now they are saying that since the visa has been issued, I must give a 60-day notice period, but they are still not confirming anything clearly. I have already sent my resignation through the post office, but they refused to accept it. In this situation, do I still need to submit a resignation with a 60-day notice period?

Will the resignation I already sent be enough after going to LMRA, or do I still need to submit a new one with a 60-day notice period?

Thanks

Your contract clause holds good which is 60days, visa renewal does not matter.

Have all the relevant information ready before you visit LMRA.
